CONCEPT: DESIGNING A SYSTEM WHICH WILL USE AIR POLLUTANTS TO FORM A SCREEN WHICH WILL BE USED IN DIFFERENT WAYS IN A BUILDING FOR IMPROVING THE AIR QUALITY AROUND THIS SYSTEM AND FOR VARIOUS OTHER PURPOSES TO MAKE THE BUILDINGS MORE ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLY.

1 Which are the most commonly found air pollutants in the air in Pune, Mumbai and similar urban cities of India?

2 Which air pollutants can be found in the Industrial cities of India?

3 Air pollutants:- (Carbon Monoxide-CO, Carbon Dioxide-CO2, Nitrogen Oxides-NO2, Dust and Smoke, Ozone: O3, Sulphur Dioxide-SO2,Ammonia, etc).
How many of these pollutants are generated from a building and its components like air conditioning units, smoke from kitchens, generators, etc and how many are generated from sources like vehicle exhausts, smoking, etc?
What is the quantum of these pollutants?

4 Is there any way of capturing these air pollutants? What could be the possible ways/processes of capturing these pollutants? Reduction in generation of pollutants is the best way but may not always be possible and would need a system which could be able to reduce the harmful effects of these.

5 Can the pollutants generated from the building components/services be collected near their source and be used as a part of a system, which can create a kind of opaque/translucent screen?

6 Can other pollutants not generated from the building but present abundantly be captured and could they be injected in this system for creating a dense screen?

7 What would be the nature of this screen…..physical, induced by some chemical process,elctromagnetic induction or some other method……? If possible..…how can it be controlled?

8 Can the pollutants be collected, disposed or recycled? Disposing them back into the air would be less desirable.

9 Can this system be responsive to the position of the sun and follow the sun path to be more efficient in terms of casting shadows resulting in better and cooler environments especially in tropical countries like India?

10 Can a technology/system be designed to change the chemistry of air in a desired zone by collececting/capturing pollutants (dust,smoke,particulate matter in the air,etc)

11 Can this technology be developed? The possibilites and applications of using this technology can be numerous.....can we replace the use of umbrellas,conventional shading devices in buildings to cast shadows?Can each car,train,etc be able to capture atleast the pollutants that it generates? Can we integrate this application with the very common use of GPS in basic day-to-day devices like mobile phones, cars, etc..and taking into account the number of users of GPS which is growing exponentially, can we the use this technology abundantly and easily....can we click and order for shade over the internet? can we program a system where we can specify the location where we want to change the photochemistry of the air around to be able to generate screens which will cast shadows....create an entire system of ......rental shadows...have periodic,weekly,monthly,yearly subscription to this technology?
